Apps don't fix your finances.

You do.

Personal finance programs show you what to do with your money.

Money From the HEART shows you how to do it.

You've tried to fix your

finances before.

But nothing seems to stick.

You start strong — a new app, a fresh budget, a brand-new spreadsheet.

You promise yourself: This time will be different.

But before long...

  • You ditch the budget.

  • Old habits come back.

  • You feel like you've failed — and wonder if you're just bad with money.

You're not bad with money.

You are human with money.

You need a human solution.

Women deserve an approach to money that recognizes it's not always that easy.

  • What we learned about money growing up can still influence our choices today.

  • Financial stress can pull us toward automatic patterns of spending, saving, avoiding, or starting over.

  • Shame can make it harder to look honestly at mistakes and decide what to do next.

  • Expectations about caregiving, success, security, and putting others first can complicate our financial decisions.

When we include these human factors in the conversation, financial change becomes easier to understand—and more possible to practice.

  • Real financial change doesn't start with better math.

  • It begins with understanding you.

Introducing:

Money From the HEART

The 5-Step Framework to Transform How You Think

— and Act — About Money

Money From the HEART

isn't just another course filled with budgeting tips and financial rules:

It's a way of understanding your financial world through a HUMAN lens - one that understands the feelings powering your finances.

Inside this self-paced course, you'll learn how to:

  • Recognize how past experiences and learned beliefs may be shaping your financial patterns

  • Notice when financial stress is pulling you toward an automatic response

  • Connect your money decisions to the values that matter most to you

  • Respond to financial mistakes with compassionate accountability instead of shame

  • Choose realistic actions you can practice, adjust, and return to

By the end of the course, you’ll have a clearer understanding of why money has felt difficult—and practical tools for beginning to approach it differently.

The wise, capable person who can lead your financial life isn’t hiding in another app or spreadsheet.

She’s already in you.

The truth is:

✨ The person you've been seeking — the one who can lead your financial life with wisdom, strength, and clarity — is you.

Money From the HEART

gives you a roadmap to find her.

Inside the 5-Step Framework in

Money From the HEART:

Honor Your Money Story

Explore how early experiences, family messages, and learned beliefs may still be shaping your financial choices today.

Engage Your Nervous System

Learn to notice when financial stress activates an automatic money response, and practice creating a pause before deciding what to do next.

Align With Your Financial Values

Clarify what you genuinely want your money to support—not what fear, comparison, or someone else’s rules say you should want.

Reframe Financial Shame

Practice responding to financial mistakes with honest, compassionate accountability.

Take Sustainable Action

Choose meaningful, realistic actions you can practice and adjust rather than demanding immediate perfection.

Take a Look Inside the Course:

This isn’t a course you simply watch and forget.

Each lesson helps you understand a different part of your financial behavior—and the workbook gives you space to connect what you’re learning to your own experiences, patterns, and next steps.

A Clear Path Through the HEART Framework

The course guides you through each of the five HEART steps in a clear, intentional sequence.

You’ll begin by exploring your money story, then move through stress responses, values, shame, and sustainable action.

Agenda for the five-step Money From the HEART course

The introductory lesson shows you where you’re going, how the five steps connect, and what to expect as you move through the course.

Reflection That Makes the Learning Personal

The guided workbook includes thoughtful prompts and practical exercises designed to help you apply each lesson to your own financial life.

You won’t be asked to find the “right” answer.

The prompts help you notice your patterns with curiosity, understand what may be influencing them, and identify a realistic next step.

You can move through the lessons and workbook at your own pace—and return whenever you need a reset, reminder, or fresh perspective.

A woman-centered strategy.

A stronger foundation for change.

You don't need another money app.

You don't need a shinier spreadsheet.

And you definitely don't need another cycle of starting strong

and ending up right back where you started.

You need a strategy that speaks to the human side of your financial struggles:

Your financial stress responses.

Your emotional patterns.

Your automatic money habits.

With the right strategy, you can:

  • Understand why earlier efforts may not have worked for you—and what could better support you now

  • Build greater capacity to face financial discomfort without immediately avoiding, reacting, or giving up

  • Practice financial habits that reflect your values rather than an automatic stress response

  • Use financial tools and plans more effectively by learning to work with your behavior, not against it

It's not just hope. It's not just a new plan.

✨It's an approach to money that recognizes you are human, not a calculator.

At just $47, Money From the HEART is a practical investment in understanding your financial behavior and beginning to change it with greater awareness, compassion, and choice.

Meet Your Guide:

Karen Helfrich, LCSW-C

Hi, I'm Karen — a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Financial Social Worker.

I created Money From the HEART based on more than 10 years of experience helping women understand:

  • Why we do what we do with money

  • Why changing familiar patterns can be difficult—even when we know what we want to do

  • How greater awareness, regulation, and self-compassion can support meaningful behavior change

My approach draws from behavior-change science, financial socialization, nervous-system regulation, self-compassion, and harm-reduction practice.

Through my work as a trauma-informed financial therapist, I’ve seen the same pattern again and again:

Smart, capable women who know what they should be doing with money — but feel overwhelmed, stuck, or ashamed when they can't seem to follow through.

You don't need another app or guru.

You need something personal-finance advice often leaves out:

Compassionate insight into the often overlooked human factors shaping your money behavior.

That’s why I created this course—to give you a framework that meets you where you are, helps you understand why money can feel so difficult, and supports you in practicing a different way forward.

You're not broken.

You're not behind.

And it's not too late.

Let's do money differently — from the heart.

Right now, you might be...

Avoiding your bank account because it brings up anxiety

Saying yes to expenses you can't afford — and regretting it later

Starting over with another budgeting system, hoping this one will finally stick

Telling yourself you're just not disciplined enough

But imagine if...

You could check your accounts with greater awareness and a plan for handling the emotions that arise

You better understood what was driving a spending, saving, or avoidance

You could pause before an automatic money response and consider a choice that better reflects your values

You responded to financial mistakes with compassionate accountability instead of shame

That's what Money From the HEART is here to help you begin creating.

Your financial life doesn't need more shame.

It needs greater understanding, practical support, and a more compassionate leader—you.
